Workshop 24th April – Ready to go again

These three trees had already put on some good early season growth…..were ready to be pruned back……and can now come back again but growing where we want them to grow!

Trident Maple

More light and air can now enter the canopy to promote back budding and a second flush of growth.

Cotoneaster

The upper branch was a distraction and was removed.

Lonicera Nitidia……impressive trunk for this species.

The final shape of the canopy is beginning to emerge. Excellent carving opportunity too.
