As you can see he is becoming overgrown and is ready for his first pruning this year.I have been waiting for the weather to improve before I carried out this work.Just some of the mess!The branches have been pruned back considerably especially around the sides.Now more light and air can enter the tree.This is him showing off……he thinks he looks good from every side!I have to trim his toes every time I repot him!……he only just fits.The bark is really beginning to age and crack.He’s come a long way from when we first started working together!
