July Workshop – Acer Palmatum Posted on July 29, 2019 by John Hanby A large old maple that had been allowed to grow freely following a repotting at the end of last year. The branches to the left need to be removed. They are too low, too thin and one is directly opposite the main branch on the right. The mature bark and impressive base is now more clearly visible. Next year we can concentrate on the secondary branches and improving ramification.
