Congratulations Kevin!

Received this picture earlier in the week and so pleased for my student Kevin after all the hard work he has put in to this tree. It won the best in show accolade and looks to have swept the board with rosettes and trophies.

This tree has been featured in my blog before and here is a reminder of what we started with on my Christmas special class in December 2015.

It just shows what can be achieved in a relatively short period of time with a reasonable piece of material and by applying the right techniques at the right time. Well done!
