Lindsay’s Juniper making good progress.

February 2020 – The tree was wired for styling but at the moment is very confusing with branches sprouting in all directions and no sense of purpose or style.

The left-hand branch was removed completely, made into jin and extended as a shari running down the trunk. The tree instantly looks more plausible with the live areas flowing in the same direction. The tree now needs to recover and gain more vigour.

Fast forward to August 2022 – After another wiring the branches have been repositioned but still based on the original design. The tree is now much stronger and the foliage areas are filling out nicely.

Sometimes drastic decisions have to be made to point the tree in the right direction and move forward. The tree is making good progress and we now need to maintain vigour/strong growth to fill out the foliage clouds with greater density.
